Rapper 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, continued his public feud with Sean "Diddy" Combs by mocking him during a Las Vegas nightclub performance. The jab came days after reports surfaced that Combs was sent to solitary confinement following an alleged fight in prison.

During his appearance at LIV Beach in Las Vegas over the weekend, 50 Cent referenced Combs's incarceration. "You coulda been anywhere, you picked being here. Thank you," he told the crowd. He then added, "You coulda been... in Fort Dix with Puffy in the box," referring to the federal correctional institution where Combs is reportedly serving time.

Reports indicate that Combs was placed in solitary confinement after an altercation with a fellow inmate. According to sources, the fight began after the inmate insulted Combs, and Combs reportedly "held his own" before prison staff intervened. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to confirm or deny the incident, stating they are "not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody."

It is unclear if Combs remains in solitary confinement. The alleged fight could lead to additional consequences for the rapper.

Combs's sentencing occurred in October 2025, when he received a 50-month prison sentence from Judge Arun Subramanian for two counts of engaging in transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His release date was recently moved up to February 23, 2028, though it is unknown if this date may change.

This latest public taunt from 50 Cent is part of a long-standing feud between the two artists. The rivalry intensified after 50 Cent released a diss track in 2006, alleging Combs's involvement in the 1997 murder of rapper The Notorious B.I.G.
