San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on Sunday in Columbiana County, Ohio, on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. Court documents obtained by The California Post state that York allegedly responded to an advertisement on a known prostitution website and arranged to meet a woman for sexual activity in exchange for $140.

Agents from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force apprehended York at a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio. According to the court documents, agents found York in possession of the cellular device used to arrange the alleged criminal act. He was booked on charges of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools.

On Monday, York entered into a plea deal with prosecutors. He pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct and one count of possessing criminal tools. Court records indicate York was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit for time served, and ordered to pay $1,150 in fines. His attorney also stated that York completed an online course.
