San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York moved to his parents' home in Youngstown, Ohio, earlier this year, months before his arrest on charges related to a prostitution sting. York is currently residing at the $500,000 property owned by his parents, Dr. John York and Denise DeBartolo York, according to voter registration records.
York, whose family has an estimated net worth of $8.5 billion, registered to vote at the Southland Avenue address in March. This move to Ohio preceded his filing for divorce from his wife of 15 years, Danielle Belluomini, on May 11, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has two sons, aged 13 and 10.
A security guard, assigned through the Nickel Group security solutions company and equipped with a gun and badge, was observed outside the Youngstown home. A spokesperson for the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a guard had been assigned to patrol the residence.
Earlier in the year, York expressed frustration over a proposed California billionaire tax, reportedly telling associates he was no longer a California resident. Prior to moving to Ohio, he lived in Los Altos Hills, California.
York was arrested on August 24, 2026, on charges of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Police documents indicate that York repeatedly contacted a fictitious advertisement for sexual services. He allegedly agreed to pay $160 for services, with an additional $20 for unprotected sex. The transactions were arranged via messages from York's iPhone.
He was apprehended at a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio, while driving a rental car. At the time of his arrest, he had $160 in his possession, which was seized. On August 25, 2026, York pleaded no contest to lesser charges of disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served and ordered to pay $1,150 in fines.
The arrest occurred shortly before the start of the San Francisco 49ers' upcoming season.
