Thirteen people were injured when an employee shuttle bus collided with a concrete barrier at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey early Monday.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on the roadway serving Terminal B's departures level. Three individuals sustained serious injuries, while ten others suffered minor injuries, according to local reports. Officials stated that none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Video from the scene showed the shuttle bus significantly damaged and pressed against the concrete barrier. The front of the bus appeared crumpled, and glass from the doors and windshield was shattered. Police tape cordoned off the area as emergency responders worked at the site.

The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The collision forced the closure of the Terminal B departures roadway as crews worked to clear debris. The Port Authority Police Department advised passengers using Terminal B to be dropped off on Level 2 due to the police activity.

Authorities have not yet released the cause of the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
