Zenagen Unveils Zenergy Shampoo for Enhanced Hair Volume

Zenagen, a hair care brand focusing on science-driven solutions, has launched Zenergy, a new daily shampoo designed to deliver fuller-looking hair through specialized cleansing and strengthening technologies. The product is engineered to reenergize the scalp and reinforce hair strands, aiming to improve the appearance of volume and thickness with consistent use.

Central to Zenergy's formulation is its Microfoam Technology, which utilizes a blend of four surfactant systems to create a finer lather. This technology is intended to effectively remove oil and buildup while maintaining scalp balance for daily washing. The shampoo maintains a pH range of 5.5–6.5, which the company states is suitable for protecting both the scalp and hair during regular use.

The formula incorporates ingredients such as liposomal encapsulated caffeine and biotin to support the hair cycle at the scalp. Botanical ingredients are included to foster a balanced scalp environment, while amino acids are used to reinforce and strengthen individual hair strands. This combination aims to promote healthier and more resilient hair over time.

Third-party instrumental testing indicated that Zenergy resulted in a 121% increase in hair volume after a single use, with this volume sustained at 114% after eight hours. Further testing reported a 70% reduction in hair breakage and a 48% decrease in combing friction on damaged hair. The shampoo also demonstrated up to 24 hours of frizz control under high humidity conditions.
