Tesla's New Roadster Features Thrusters for Mid-Air Maneuvers

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has unveiled a new version of the company's Roadster electric sports car, featuring thrusters that allow the vehicle to hover and maneuver in mid-air. The demonstration took place at a facility owned by SpaceX, Musk's aerospace company, which contributed to the car's development.

During the event in Texas, Musk presented the vehicle, stating that an audience was necessary to prove the car was not "AI." He then showed a demonstration where the Roadster drove up a steep ramp, spun in the air, and landed using air jets. The CEO described the new capabilities as "crazy stuff."

Despite the demonstration, the widespread availability of flying cars remains a distant prospect due to various technological and regulatory challenges.
