Smart Glasses Plunge to $60 During Amazon Prime Day Sale
Plunthorn AI glasses, offering real-time translation and AI assistance, are available for a limited time.
Amazon's Prime Day event features a significant discount on Plunthorn smart glasses, reducing their price to $60. This offer, available until June 26, presents a budget-friendly alternative to higher-priced smart eyewear.
The Plunthorn glasses provide several features, including real-time language translation, photo and video capture capabilities, and an integrated AI assistant powered by ChatGPT. Users can connect the glasses to their smartphones via Bluetooth for streaming music, taking calls, and accessing voice commands without needing to use their phone directly.
Designed for everyday wear and various activities, the glasses are IP65 water-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor pursuits such as running, cycling, and hiking. They also offer interchangeable lenses, allowing users to switch between sunglass and clear options for different settings.
Commentary from users suggests the glasses are perceived as "futuristic without being complicated" and a "solid budget pick" compared to more expensive models. The discount is part of Amazon's broader Prime Day sales, which typically include deals on electronics, home goods, and other consumer products. Prime Day runs from June 23 to June 27, offering discounts exclusively to Prime members. Additional promotions for Prime members during this period include deals on pizza from Little Caesars and gift cards for purchasing vehicles through Amazon Autos.
