Skyscanner Launches 'Paradise Guide' to Help Travelers Find Their Ideal Beach

Skyscanner has introduced a new online tool called the "Paradise Guide" designed to assist holidaymakers in selecting the perfect beach destination. The interactive guide allows users to filter potential locations based on various criteria, aiming to simplify the often overwhelming process of choosing a seaside spot.

Users begin by inputting their desired travel dates, which helps the tool identify locations with favorable weather conditions at that time. Following this, the guide prompts users to select their preferred "vibe," with options ranging from quiet and relaxed to lively and social, family-friendly, or adventurous. The tool also considers essential amenities such as the availability of sun loungers, lifeguards, water sports, and nearby dining options.

Further customization is available through filters for location, travel distance, and budget, including whether the user can travel from an airport. Once all preferences are entered, the Paradise Guide suggests beaches that best match the user's criteria.

In conjunction with the launch of the new tool, Skyscanner has also compiled a list of top beaches. Sandbanks Beach in Dorset, a Blue Flag beach with peak season temperatures around 20C (68F), is highlighted as a popular choice for families and those interested in water sports. Botany Bay in Kent, known for its chalk cliffs and as a filming location for productions like "The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain," is also featured. St Andrews West Sands in Scotland ranks third on the UK list. Globally, Palm Beach in Oranjestad, Aruba, is recognized as the most talked-about beach, noted for its year-round sunshine and Caribbean atmosphere.

By inputing your beach priorities, the new tool will suggest the best options for you
