Sephora Australia recently hosted a showcase in Sydney, offering beauty editors, influencers, and industry experts a first look at upcoming products and brands for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. Among the highlights were the return of Marc Jacobs Beauty, the exclusive Australian launch of Merit Beauty, and new offerings from Hourglass, Fenty Beauty, and It Cosmetics.

Marc Jacobs Beauty has officially returned to Australia this month after its departure in 2021. The brand, known for its long-wearing eyeliners, Omega Bronzer, and Coconut Hydrating Primer, is reintroducing bolder makeup options, including colorful eyeshadow palettes and liners. Prices for the reintroduced line start at $45.

Merit Beauty, a minimalist brand that previously launched online in Australia in late 2024, will now be available exclusively in Sephora Australia and New Zealand stores starting September 30. The launch will include 37 stores and online availability, featuring cult products like the Minimalist Complexion Stick and Flush Balm, along with its fragrance range.

Hourglass, another significant brand for Sephora Australia, arrived at the retailer in February. New additions to its collection include the Phantom Blur Balms, feather-light lipsticks designed to create a blurred color effect for up to 12 hours, priced at $66.

Fenty Beauty is set to launch a new foundation, the Pro Filt'r Fluid Flex Natural Matte Longwear formula, in September. This successor to the Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation has reportedly been in development for over seven years, incorporating customer feedback. It will be available in 50 shades, offering a medium, buildable finish, and will be complemented by the new Pro Filt'r Fluid Flex Foundation Brush 165 ($56).

It Cosmetics is introducing the Do It All Sheer Tint Face Balm ($65), a four-in-one product that combines 92 percent skincare ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and collagen peptides, with pigment. Available in 15 flexible shades, the balm can be applied for sheer coverage or built up.

The showcase highlighted a trend towards cream-to-powder blushes. Offerings include the Sephora Collection's All-In-One Cream Color Blush ($28), which can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips, and the more high-end Prada Touch Cream-To-Powder Blush ($85).

Olaplex is expanding its hair care line with the No.7 Shine Serum Oil Mist ($70). This bi-phase treatment aims to provide up to 96 hours of shine and hydration, offers heat protection up to 232°C, and uses the brand's Bond-Building Technology to reduce breakage by a claimed 75 percent.

Valentino Beauty is releasing a limited-edition collection of Hair & Body Mists ($75 each) in four scents, signaling a return to lighter, more casual ways of wearing fragrance.

Naturium is adding to its popular Glow Getter body range with the Multi-Oil Body Scrub ($33). This product combines sugar crystals with botanical oils, glycerin, and squalane to exfoliate and hydrate the skin, featuring the range's signature vanilla-coconut scent.

Huda Beauty's new Liquid Matte Mousse Soft Blur Lip Cream ($43) is designed for a blurred, soft-focus lip effect. The whipped mousse formula comes in eight nude shades and can be blended outwards from the center of the lips.

Makeup by Mario is updating its cult-favorite cream eyeshadows with a shimmering finish. The Soft Shimmer Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadows ($45) are available in eight shades.

One Size is launching Ultimate Color Corrector Stains ($47), designed to brighten, neutralize, and correct discoloration for up to 12 hours. The brand also offers the Oil Sucker Spray ($57) for controlling shine.

Korean beauty brand ANUA, known for its barrier-focused skincare, made its physical debut in Sephora stores in April. The brand's profile has been growing, with Kendall Jenner now fronting its campaigns.

These launches suggest a busy and potentially expensive season for beauty consumers for Spring/Summer 2026.
