Ring Battery Doorbell Sees First-Ever Discount During Amazon Prime Day

Amazon's annual Prime Day event is offering a significant discount on the latest Ring Battery Doorbell, marking the first time the newly released device has been available at a reduced price.

The Ring Battery Doorbell (2nd Gen), which debuted in late March, is currently 50% off during the Prime Day sale. This sale provides consumers with an opportunity to purchase the smart home device at a considerable saving.

The doorbell features Retinal 2K video with a wide field of view and up to six times enhanced zoom, allowing users to clearly see visitors and their surroundings. It offers head-to-toe video coverage and real-time motion alerts. Users can also communicate with visitors remotely through two-way audio.

The device is powered by a rechargeable battery that can be easily removed for charging via USB-C. For enhanced functionality, an optional Ring Protect subscription provides access to recorded video history and AI-powered alerts.

Amazon Prime Day, described as the company's largest annual sale, runs from June 23 at 3 a.m. ET through June 27 at 3 a.m. ET this year. The event features numerous deals, including new discounts dropping frequently and special offers for Prime members, such as exclusive travel deals and opportunities to win prizes. Access to Prime Day deals is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, though a 30-day free trial is available.
