Love Island Stars' Wedding Celebration Interrupted by Police
Molly Smith and Tom Clare's post-nuptial festivities in Mallorca took a turn when authorities were called to address the rowdy celebrations.
The post-wedding celebration for Love Island couple Molly Smith and Tom Clare was disrupted by local law enforcement on the second day of their festivities in Mallorca. The incident occurred at the Suculenta Port de Sóller restaurant, where guests, including friends, family, and co-stars from the reality series, were reportedly causing a disturbance.
Smith, 32, and Clare, 26, who won the 2024 All-Stars version of Love Island, were married in a ceremony over the weekend. The celebratory activities that followed included guests, and reportedly the bride and groom, jumping into the sea while drinks were being consumed. The unrest prompted the summoning of members of the Guardia Civil to de-escalate the situation.
Among the attendees was best man Casey O'Gorman, who was seen interacting with law enforcement while dressed in swimwear. Sources indicated that O'Gorman had previously jumped into the port, which is prohibited, leading to the police intervention to advise him on permissible swimming areas.
Earlier in the week, Smith and Clare had spoken about the stressful aspects of last-minute wedding preparations, including managing invoices and guest inquiries. They described their legal wedding ceremony as a "really special and intimate" occasion. Following the ceremony, a celebratory dinner at The Ivy concluded with guests dancing on tables and O'Gorman reportedly ending up "in a heap on the floor."
Other Love Island stars in attendance included Mitch Taylor and his girlfriend Hayley Griffin, as well as Sophie Piper and her partner Joshua Ritchie.
