Jacob Elordi Suffered Broken Heels After 'Jumping Off Something,' Forced Mid-Filming Casts

Jacob Elordi revealed he sustained broken heels earlier this year after an accident in which he was "jumping off something." The injury forced the actor to withdraw from his duties as a juror at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Elordi, 29, explained the painful breaks and the subsequent need to wear a cast and a moon boot. He noted the irony that this coincided with his "Euphoria" character, Nate Jacobs, undergoing graphic scenes in season three where his character's toe and finger were cut off. "So everyone thought it was hilarious to be like, 'Oh, method acting!' I was like, 'Yeah, I cut my f---ing toe off,'" Elordi said, referencing the filming.
The actor was expected to participate in movie screenings, premieres, press conferences, photocalls, and parties at the Cannes Film Festival, which ran from May 12 to May 23.
Recent reports indicate Elordi's relationship with model Kendall Jenner is progressing, with Jenner having joined him in Australia for his 29th birthday celebration. Sources suggest their relationship is becoming serious, with Jenner reportedly seeing a future with Elordi.
The couple previously vacationed together in Japan and have been seen at various events, including a Bottega Veneta fashion show in September 2024 and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.
