Google Unveils Pixel 11 Series, Pixel Watch 5 With Enhanced AI Features
The tech giant introduces new smartphones, a foldable, and a smartwatch with upgrades in camera technology, battery life, and AI capabilities.

Google has launched its latest lineup of devices, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL smartphones, alongside the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 5. The new products aim to enhance user experience with advanced AI features, improved camera systems, and longer battery life.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are available in four color options: Canyon, Fog, Olive, and Obsidian. The standard Pixel 11 comes in Pistachio and Hibiscus, as well as the neutral Frost and Obsidian.
Pixel 11 Series Enhancements
The Pixel 11 Pro features a redesigned telephoto camera with 120x Pro Zoom and AI-powered Magic Capture to assist in capturing moments. Video recording capabilities extend to 8K. The device is powered by the new Tensor G6 chip, which is designed to improve photo quality, especially in low light, and enhance overall phone performance. It includes a built-in VPN and call-screen features, with battery life exceeding 24 hours.
The more affordable Pixel 11 model also incorporates Gemini AI features and offers extended battery life. It boasts a brighter, more scratch-resistant display and an IP68 rating for water resistance. The camera system on the Pixel 11 includes 30x Super Zoom and Magic Capture features, along with improved low-light sensitivity.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold, a foldable device, has been redesigned to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It features more scratch-resistant glass and a sleeker composite back. The upgraded camera system includes a 48MP main lens and a telephoto lens with 30x zoom. The foldable design allows for dual-screen preview for photography and selfies using the rear camera.
Pixel Watch 5 and Google Tag
The Pixel Watch 5 is positioned as a health companion, with capabilities to track blood pressure, detect patterns indicating heart strain, and monitor insulin resistance over time. It also includes blood oxygen level tracking and breathing rate monitoring. A feature to detect breathing cessation and call emergency services is launching in Europe and will roll out globally. The watch offers detailed sleep analysis, including minute-by-minute tracking of blood oxygen variations. Integrated with Google Gemini and Qualcomm Snapdragon's W5 Gen 2 chip, the watch provides faster processing and AI features for voice commands.
Google also announced the Google Tag, an item tracker designed to compete with products like the Apple AirTag. The Google Tag is not yet available for preorder and is expected to launch later in the year.
Preorders for the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 are now open, with devices scheduled to launch on August 20. Bundle deals are available, offering savings of up to $250 on Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel Watch bundles, $100 Amazon gift cards with Pixel 11 bundles, and $350 Amazon gift cards with Pixel 11 Pro Fold bundles.
