Google Unveils Pixel 11 Lineup with Enhanced AI, New Watch, and Tracker
The company introduces four new Pixel 11 phones, a Pixel Watch 5, and a Pixel Tag, all featuring the new Tensor G6 chip and advanced Gemini AI capabilities.

Google has launched its latest lineup of Pixel devices, headlined by the Pixel 11 series of smartphones, alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and the new Pixel Tag. The new products are powered by Google's Tensor G6 processor and emphasize enhanced artificial intelligence features, aiming to make devices more proactive and helpful.
The Pixel 11 family includes four models: the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All devices incorporate the new Tensor G6 chip, designed to accelerate on-device AI tasks. The phones feature upgraded cameras, with the standard Pixel 11 boasting a thinner camera bar and a 40% larger main camera sensor for improved low-light performance. The Pro models offer brighter displays with enhanced scratch resistance and significantly upgraded telephoto cameras capable of up to 120x Pro Zoom. Google has also refined the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, making it lighter, thinner, and more durable.
Gemini AI has been further integrated across the Pixel 11 devices, allowing for more proactive assistance. The AI can now handle multistep tasks across more than 40 apps and surface contextually relevant information, such as flight details when a trip is mentioned in a text message. A new feature called Rambler aims to transcribe speech more cleanly by removing filler words, and Sign To Text enables users to communicate with their phone using American Sign Language via the camera.
Camera technology sees several advancements, including Magic Capture, which analyzes multiple frames to select the best photo automatically, and an improved Instant Night Sight for faster low-light photography. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL introduce HiLight, a system of LED lights around the camera flash that can provide visual notifications when the phone is face down.
Privacy and security are addressed with user controls over AI features and data usage. Google promises seven years of automatic security updates for the Pixel 11 series, supported by an upgraded security chip.
The Pixel Watch 5 comes with improved GPS accuracy and a faster processor. New Health Guardian features aim to provide longer-term wellness insights, including summaries of blood pressure and sleep breathing trends. A significant safety feature, Breathing Emergency Detection, which can automatically call emergency services during a severe breathing episode, is currently available in select European countries and is planned for expansion.
Google is also entering the item tracker market with the Pixel Tag. This small tracker utilizes the Find Hub network, comprising over one billion Android devices, to help locate lost items. It offers Ultra-Wideband technology for directional guidance and can also be used to ring a misplaced phone. The Pixel Tag is priced at $29 for a single unit or $99 for a four-pack, with sales beginning November 11.
Updates were also announced for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, including improved Active Noise Cancellation and a new Olive color option. New software features will allow the buds to automatically pause audio if the Pixel Watch detects the wearer has fallen asleep, and Live Translate capabilities are being expanded.
