First 'Neuromancer' Teaser Unveiled at Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con attendees received a first look at Apple TV+'s upcoming series "Neuromancer" during a Saturday panel, which featured a surprise video message from star Callum Turner. The teaser offers a glimpse into the futuristic, neon-drenched world of William Gibson's 1984 novel.

Turner, who portrays the lead character Case, was unable to attend the convention in person but introduced the footage, calling it a "first access point" into the series. The teaser showcases the show's visual aesthetic, action sequences, and the digital landscape that defined the cyberpunk genre and earned Gibson's novel critical acclaim, including the Nebula Award, Hugo Award, and Philip K. Dick Award.

Set to premiere on Apple TV+ on January 22, 2027, "Neuromancer" follows Case, a damaged hacker drawn back into the world of cybercrime. He partners with Molly, a sharp assassin known as a "razor-girl," for a high-stakes heist targeting a powerful corporate dynasty. The 10-episode series is created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard. The ensemble cast includes Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, and Clémence Poésy, among others.

"Neuromancer" is a significant science fiction project for Apple TV+, adapting a foundational work of the cyberpunk genre. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content. Roland serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Dillard also executive producing and directing the first three episodes. Additional executive producers include David Levine, Garrett Kemble, Zack Hayden, Drake, Future, and Jason Shrier. Jennifer Haley and William Gibson are also listed as executive producers.
