COSRX, a prominent K-beauty brand, has launched a new face mask incorporating polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN), an ingredient gaining traction for its potential in skin rejuvenation and elasticity.
The COSRX 5 PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Vital Hydrating Hydrogel Mask is designed to provide hydration, improve skin bounce, and enhance radiance. The mask utilizes five types of PDRN, derived from sources including salmon, centella asiatica, rice, lactobacillus, and sea grapes. It also features eight forms of hyaluronic acid to further boost moisture levels.
Beyond PDRN and hyaluronic acid, the formula includes panthenol and allantoin, known for their soothing properties. Niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, adenosine, and collagen are also present, contributing to a comprehensive ingredient profile for an at-home treatment.
COSRX recommends leaving the mask on for two to three hours, or until it becomes transparent, suggesting it can also be used as an overnight treatment for intensive skincare. This extended wear time positions it as more than a quick fix, aiming for a more significant skin revitalizing effect.
