Apple has launched five new products, including the highly anticipated foldable iPhone Duo, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, and the Apple Watch Series 12. The new lineup, presented under the leadership of newly appointed CEO John Ternus, features significant price adjustments for some devices, with notable increases for the latest iPhone Pro models and the introduction of a premium foldable device.

iPhone Duo

The iPhone Duo marks Apple's entry into the foldable phone market. The base model, equipped with 256 gigabytes of storage, is priced at $1,999. A higher-tier version with two terabytes of memory starts at $3,199. Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo begin on October 16, with availability scheduled for October 23. This device is described as Apple's thinnest iPhone ever.

iPhone 18 Series

Apple has decided to focus on its Pro models for the latest iPhone release, omitting a base model iPhone 18. The iPhone 18 Pro is priced at $1,199, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max costs $1,299. The iPhone 18 Pro represents a $100 price increase compared to the previous year's model. New color options for the Pro models include glacier and burgundy, in addition to traditional choices.

Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4

The Apple Watch Series 12 is available in two sizes, starting at $399 for the 42mm aluminum case model, which remains consistent with the Series 11 base price. However, the 46mm version of the Series 12 sees a price increase, starting at $449, a $20 jump from the prior generation. This creates a $50 price difference between the two sizes, irrespective of case material. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is priced at $799, unchanged from its predecessor, the Ultra 3. It is available starting September 18 and features minimal updates.

AirPods 5

In contrast to the price increases seen in other product categories, the latest AirPods 5 are more affordable. The base model of the AirPods 5 is priced at $129, the same as the previous generation. The elevated model of the AirPods 5 is now $149, which is $30 less than last year's comparable model. Pre-order information for these products is available on Apple's website.
