Apple TV's 'Lucky' Concludes as Limited Series, No Season 2 Planned

Apple TV+'s crime thriller "Lucky" has concluded its run, with the seventh episode, "All Good Things," serving as the series finale. The show was marketed from its inception as a limited series, and Apple TV referred to the final episode as the "gripping conclusion of limited series Lucky," indicating that a second season is not planned.

The seven-episode first season followed Lucky, portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy, as she navigated complex confrontations with characters like Priscilla Masterson (Annette Bening) and Wayne Whittaker (William Fichtner). The finale revealed the fate of John Armstrong (Timothy Olyphant) and introduced an unexpected turn for Agent Rand (Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor).

In the series finale, Priscilla Masterson killed Whittaker and allowed Lucky and John to go free. John attempted to abscond with the money, but Lucky had anticipated this, sending the cryptocurrency and seed phrase to Rand. She then departed to begin a new life, independent of her father and past criminal activities.

"Lucky" is an Apple TV+ original series, accessible through a subscription to the platform. New subscribers can avail themselves of a seven-day free trial. The service offers a single ad-free streaming plan at $12.99 per month. Additionally, Amazon Prime members can subscribe to Apple TV+ directly via Prime Video for $5.99 per month, with a bundled option including Apple TV+ and Peacock also available, offering a $10 monthly saving.
