‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Questions Monogamy Hours Before Wedding

Hours before their wedding, Catie, a participant on TLC's "90 Day Fiancé," posed a question to her fiancé, Josh, regarding the boundaries of monogamy. The conversation, which occurred the night before their nuptials, centered on Catie's expressed difficulty with absolute fidelity.

Josh sought reassurance from Catie about her commitment to being exclusive. "Monogamy is what I’m making a commitment to, and, like, just committing to you and only you and kind of looking for the same in return," he told her. Catie responded by asking, "Can we never make out with anyone again?"

She then inquired about the possibility of future threesomes, asking, "But what if in the future we, like, want to have a three-way or something, like, both of us? Does that fit into monogamy?"

Josh, appearing stunned, eventually responded that if both partners mutually desired such an encounter and discussed it, it could technically fall within the definition of their commitment. However, he expressed uncertainty about whether it was something he personally wanted, stating, "I don’t know what the future holds."

Catie acknowledged to the cameras that she had "mixed feelings" about her ability to remain faithful, attributing her doubts to a love for flirting and potential behavioral issues, possibly linked to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). "I don’t have any doubts about him," she stated. "It’s more like I have doubts about how I’ll act in that situation."

Her mother previously commented on Catie's history of selfishness and relationship difficulties, suggesting that internal struggles and the influence of intrusive thoughts might contribute to her behavior. "She’s burned some relationships — a lot of relationships, several friendships — just because, she’s a lot, and people get tired of it," her mother had said.
