WWE announced Monday that Survivor Series: WarGames will be held at Minute Maid Park in Houston, the home of the Houston Astros, on Nov. 28. This marks the 40th anniversary of the Survivor Series event.

Last year's Survivor Series: WarGames was held at Petco Park in San Diego, the home of the Padres. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque stated in a news release that Houston is an ideal location to celebrate this milestone for Survivor Series and that the company looks forward to partnering with Houston First and the Astros to create a memorable event.

WarGames is a highly anticipated match format that has been featured annually on the WWE roster since 2022. The premium live event has also been a venue for dramatic returns. In 2023, CM Punk made a surprise return at the conclusion of the show, and Randy Orton also returned to in-ring action during the event. Last year, a mystery attacker intervened in the WarGames match, contributing to a victory for The Bloodline faction.

Michael Heckman, President and CEO of Houston First, expressed pride in hosting a global entertainment brand like WWE. He anticipates the event will draw thousands of fans to Houston, providing a significant economic boost to the community. Houston has a track record of hosting major entertainment events, and Heckman looks forward to welcoming the WWE Universe.

WWE star Sami Zayn recently spoke with Fox News Digital about Johnny Gargano's return to the ring, highlighting the personal connections and anticipation surrounding such events.
