World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that its Wrestlepalooza premium live event will return to Australia in 2026, with Perth scheduled to host the event on December 12, 2026, at the RAC Center. This event marks the beginning of a three-year agreement between WWE and the Western Australian Government, facilitated by Tourism Western Australia, which will extend through 2028.
As part of this new agreement, Perth will also serve as the location for annual WWE Weekend Takeovers from 2026 to 2028. Leading up to Wrestlepalooza: Perth, the city will host "Friday Night SmackDown" on December 11, 2026, and "Monday Night Raw" on December 14, 2026.
Perth has a recent history of hosting major WWE events. The city was the site of last year's Crown Jewel in October 2025, which featured matches including John Cena and A.J. Styles, as well as championship bouts for the Men's and Women's Crown Jewel Championships. In 2024, Perth hosted the Elimination Chamber event, where Rhea Ripley defended her Women’s World Championship in her hometown.
WWE is planning a series of fan experiences to coincide with the Wrestlepalooza event, including superstores and meet-and-greets. Combo tickets for the events are slated to go on sale on September 10.
The Wrestlepalooza event has previously featured significant matches, including Brock Lesnar's return to WWE competition and AJ Lee's in-ring return alongside CM Punk at last year's event.
