WNBA Star A'ja Wilson Involved in On-Court Collision with Staffer

WNBA star A'ja Wilson was involved in an accidental collision with an arena staff member on Thursday night as the Las Vegas Aces entered the court for their game against the Phoenix Mercury.
The incident occurred backstage at PHX Arena as Wilson and her teammates emerged from the tunnel. Video captured the moment a staff member walked in front of a curtain just as Wilson, leading the Aces, ran through it, colliding with the employee and causing her to fall to the ground.
An audible groan was heard from the Aces players witnessing the collision, with teammate Chelsea Gray appearing visibly stunned in the background. The staff member was able to quickly regain her footing.
The footage quickly gained traction on social media, with many users questioning the staffer's positioning at the time of the team's entrance. Online comments expressed surprise at the situation and concern for the potential for injury.
Despite the pre-game disruption, the incident did not appear to affect Wilson's performance. She went on to score 34 points and grab 10 rebounds in the Aces' 100-82 victory over the Phoenix Mercury.
