Winston dedicates Giants' narrow win to injured teammate Dart

Jameis Winston guided the New York Giants to a hard-fought 12-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, a win he dedicated to injured teammate Jaxson Dart.

Conditions were challenging at MetLife Stadium, with Winston completing 14 of 22 passes for 118 yards and facing three sacks. Despite the offensive struggles, the Giants managed to secure the win, with kicker Dominic Zvada making short field goals. The defense also played a crucial role, including a late interception by Jevon Holland that sealed the victory.

"Belief. Faith. There was no doubt on the sideline that it was going to happen," Winston said after the game when asked about the team's ability to secure the win. "Obviously, we are our brother’s keeper. Winning this game for Jaxson. Twelve points. Six times two. It's for you. That's twelve."

He continued, "So, we found a way to will to get this. Then (Brian Burns) went down. So, we had to find a way to be our brother's keeper. But we never lost faith. We kept going. And our objective was to be 1-0. One play at a time."

Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury seven snaps into the Giants' previous game against the Los Angeles Rams, a significant blow to the team's playoff hopes. The loss of their star player had left the team looking disoriented in the subsequent game.

Winston acknowledged his performance was not stellar but emphasized the team's resilience. The Giants will look to build on this win as they prepare to host the Arizona Cardinals next week. The Cardinals recently scored 30 points in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
