Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis finds himself under scrutiny once again after a recent training camp practice. Footage circulated widely on social media showing Levis slipping and falling during an inter-squad scrimmage, an incident that drew audible groans and laughter from onlookers.
The play occurred as Levis, facing pressure from the defense, attempted to scramble to his right. While trying to backpedal and extend the play, he lost his footing and fell to the turf at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, ultimately resulting in an incomplete pass.
This moment follows Levis's recent assertion that he is one of the top 32 quarterbacks in the NFL. His performance in the scrimmage has drawn renewed attention to his career inconsistencies since being drafted.
Levis was a projected first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft but fell to the second round, selected by the Titans. After starting his rookie season third on the depth chart, he eventually earned his first NFL start in October 2023, throwing for four touchdowns. However, he has struggled to consistently replicate that success.
Across 21 career games, Levis has completed 61 percent of his passes for 3,899 yards, with 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. In his second season, he began as the Week 1 starter but lost the position to Mason Rudolph due to struggles, finishing the season with 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He also missed the entire 2025 season due to injury.
He is currently positioned as the third-string quarterback behind starter Cam Ward and veteran backup Mitch Trubisky. Throughout his career, Levis has faced public criticism and has been the subject of memes related to his on-field miscues, including a notable instance of dropping to his knees after throwing an interception.
Beyond his on-field performance, Levis's personal life has also drawn public attention. In May 2024, an intimate tape featuring Levis and his then-girlfriend Gia Duddy was leaked. Levis's mother, Beth Levis, addressed the incident in May, stating that her son spent a significant amount on private investigators and cybersecurity specialists to uncover the source of the leak. She explained that the content was stolen after his private laptop was breached, with investigators tracing the hacking to criminals located thousands of miles away. While much of the content was taken down, Beth Levis noted that it is impossible to remove everything from the internet. She also refuted speculation that either Will Levis or Duddy had deliberately leaked the tape, confirming that the breach occurred a year or two prior while he was in college. Levis and Duddy reportedly split in September 2023.
