Where to Bet on the 2026 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland
FanDuel Racing, BetMGM Racebook, and TwinSpires are among the platforms offering wagers on the prestigious horse racing event.
The 2026 Breeders' Cup is set to take place at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky, with races scheduled for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31. The highlight of the event is the $7 million Breeders' Cup Classic, a 1 1/4-mile dirt race scheduled for Saturday.
Keeneland is hosting the Breeders' Cup for the fourth time, having previously held the event in 2015, 2020, and 2022. The favorite for the Classic is reportedly the defending champion, Forever Young, with morning line odds of 2-1.
Betting on horse racing operates on a pari-mutuel system, where wagers are placed into a pool against other bettors rather than against the house. This type of betting is regulated separately from general sports betting, often requiring dedicated platforms known as racebooks or racing apps.
Several online racebooks provide access to the Breeders' Cup card. FanDuel Racing is widely available, operating in over 20 states and offering full pari-mutuel wagering, live video, and replays. For existing FanDuel Sportsbook users, the shared wallet feature allows seamless use of funds across both platforms.
BetMGM Racebook, a standalone app designed to mirror the BetMGM Sportsbook interface, covers the entire Breeders' Cup race schedule. However, its availability is currently limited to Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio. It offers a convenient option for BetMGM customers in these states.
TwinSpires, owned by Churchill Downs, is a long-standing name in online horse racing. It boasts extensive track coverage, handicapping tools, and race replays, and is available in more states than many other racing apps. For those in locations where FanDuel Racing and BetMGM Racebook are not accessible, TwinSpires is presented as a primary alternative.
In addition to horse racing, the weekend will feature other sporting events. The Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli WBC super middleweight title fight is scheduled for Saturday, as is the football game between Florida and Georgia. The NBA also has a full schedule on Saturday, followed by NFL games on Sunday.
