Vanessa Gold, daughter of former West Ham co-owner David Gold, has confirmed her family has reached an agreement to sell their shares in the football club to a consortium led by Amanda Staveley. The consortium also includes Staveley's husband, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, and PCP Capital Partners.

While the sale process is not yet complete, Vanessa Gold stated her intention to be transparent with the club's supporters regarding the status of the deal. The agreement reportedly involves a 25% stake in the Championship club.

BBC Sport had previously reported discussions between the Gold family and Staveley's group over the potential sale.
