A fierce brawl erupted in the stands at Wrigley Field on Monday night during the Chicago Cubs' 7-5 victory over the rival Chicago White Sox. The altercation, which lasted nearly two and a half minutes, involved multiple fans and escalated to physical altercations.

A video of the incident showed a fan in a white Cubs jersey confronting a group of fans wearing White Sox colors. The situation intensified when one fan appeared to kick another, leading to drinks and cups being thrown. Fists then began to fly, resulting in what was described as a "brutal four-on-two beatdown" of fans wearing Cubs gear.

During the fight, one fan in blue was reportedly overwhelmed and subjected to continuous blows. Spectators could be heard calling for security and expressing shock at the violence. At one point, stadium staff were present but did not immediately intervene to stop the fight.

As the situation deteriorated, law enforcement officers arrived on the scene. Reports indicated that one fan, wearing a gray sleeveless tank top, attempted to flee but was stopped and identified by officers. Another fan was observed with a bloodied lip and apparent blood on his head.

Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong commented on the incident, calling the fights in the stands "unfortunate and somewhat nauseating," while also noting that "you got people in the stands competing too."

The Crosstown Classic rivalry between the two Chicago baseball teams continued Tuesday. The White Sox are currently leading the AL Central, and the Cubs hold the first NL Wild Card spot.
