New York Knicks point guard Tyler Kolek expressed his desire for NFL legend Tom Brady to become a more frequent attendee at Madison Square Garden.

"He's been there before but he has to come more often," Kolek told Page Six at the 2026 ESPY Awards. Brady attended two Knicks games in November 2024, a move that resonated with Kolek, who identified himself as a former Patriots fan turned Tom Brady fan.

Kolek, 25, also praised the consistent presence of other celebrities in the Knicks' celebrity courtside section, including Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, and Ben Stiller. He noted Chalamet's dedication throughout the past playoff run and highlighted the collective support from these figures at both home and away games.

"It felt amazing, 53 years, we felt it. Not only did we [feel] it, but the whole city felt it, the whole fan base, so it’s been pretty special," Kolek said of the Knicks' NBA championship win, their first since 1973. He emphasized that the team is already focused on the upcoming season and aims for back-to-back championships, with preparation beginning immediately in the summer.

Several Knicks players, including Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson, Jose Alvarado, and Mikal Bridges, also attended the 2026 ESPY Awards. The Knicks secured their championship by defeating the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Kolek humorously recounted an incident during the team's ticker-tape parade where he was mistaken for a fan while trying to rejoin his team's float, an event he attributed to simply enjoying the celebration.
