Minnesota Twins prospect Walker Jenkins intervened to assist a child who fainted due to heat and dehydration before a minor league baseball game on a warm evening in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred before the St. Paul Saints, the Twins' Triple-A affiliate, faced the Buffalo Bisons.

During the national anthem, as players and local children stood on the field, a boy named Lincoln began to show signs of distress. Jenkins, the Twins' top prospect, noticed the child swaying and quickly moved to prevent him from falling. He then carried the boy to the dugout to receive medical attention.

According to KSTP, a local station, the child had been exposed to the sun for an extended period and was dehydrated. Medical staff evaluated Lincoln in the dugout, administered aid, and helped him cool down. While he recovered and was advised not to return to the field, he was able to leave the game with a T-shirt bearing Jenkins' name and number.

Thankfully, the boy was fine and left the game with one of Jenkins' T-Shirts

Jenkins also had a successful outing on the field, contributing to the Saints' 12-6 victory with a 3-for-5 performance that included a double, a triple, and three runs scored.
