Travis Kelce has returned to football training, marking his first public workout since marrying singer Taylor Swift on July 3. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was photographed training in Florida on Thursday, nearly two weeks after the high-profile ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
Kelce, dressed in Nike attire for the session, was seen carrying a duffel bag and a sports drink. He appeared to be wearing his wedding band. The wedding ceremony was confirmed with a sign outside Madison Square Garden that read, “Just&T Married!”
The event drew numerous sports figures, including 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, Kristin; Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly; and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and his wife, Jen. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid also attended.
Kelce is preparing for his 14th NFL season and ninth with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs missed the playoffs in the 2025 season with a 6-11 record, their first absence since 2014. Despite retirement rumors earlier in the offseason, Kelce is set to continue his career with the team. He has accumulated 13,002 receiving yards over 13 seasons with the Chiefs, along with three Super Bowl victories and 80 touchdowns.
To bolster the offense for the upcoming 2026 season, the Chiefs added former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III. The team is scheduled to open their season on September 14 at home against the Broncos, who won the AFC West in the previous season.
