Tony Romo was arrested and booked for driving under the influence on Thursday night in Milwaukee County, according to WISN 12 News. The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, who now works as an analyst for CBS Sports, was reportedly stopped around 8 p.m. while traveling southbound on Interstate 43.

Reports indicate that Romo failed to pass standard field sobriety tests administered at the scene. He was subsequently taken into custody for operating while under the influence (OWI) under a book and release process.

In Wisconsin, a first-offense OWI is typically classified as a civil offense rather than a criminal charge. Penalties for a first offense usually involve a fine ranging from $150 to $300.
