Three NFL players, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs, Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper, and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Terrion Arnold, have been placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List. The league's exempt list is a special status for players in unusual circumstances, requiring the Commissioner's explicit approval.

Jacobs was charged with one count of battery and one count of criminal damage to property following a domestic incident earlier this year near his Green Bay home. He faces potential fines or up to 18 months in prison if convicted of the misdemeanor charges.

Cooper was arrested in June for allegedly violating a protection order related to a previous domestic violence arrest. Arnold was arrested in June on charges of kidnapping and armed robbery. He was released by the Detroit Lions following his arrest but has since joined the Seahawks' camp. All three players will be unable to participate in games while on the exempt list.
