Nightingale had been seeking to reclaim the championship she lost to Moné at All In in August. However, her recent struggles, compounded by the injury, have hindered her championship aspirations.
Previously, Thekla held the AEW Women's World Championship for 165 days after defeating Kris Statlander in February. Nightingale then defeated Thekla for the title in July, but her reign was short-lived as Moné returned to AEW and won the championship.
The upcoming match between Thekla and Moné is anticipated to be a significant contest. If Thekla emerges victorious, she would become one of only three women to have held the AEW Women's World Championship on at least two separate occasions.
