TalkSPORT presenter Jamie O'Hara experienced a car break-in following England's World Cup quarter-final victory. The former Tottenham player discovered his car had been broken into, resulting in the theft of his iPad and bag.

Despite the incident, O'Hara attended his scheduled Sky Sports duty the next morning. He appeared on air wearing shorts due to the circumstances. O'Hara had been presenting talkSPORT's live watchalong for England's 2-1 win over Norway alongside Jason Cundy and Danny Mills.

O'Hara shared an image of his car's smashed window on X, expressing his dismay but maintaining a positive outlook. "Sad end to the night car broken into iPad and bag gone," he wrote. "But tbh we’re in the f****** semi-final. I can replace a window - you can’t replace Jude Bellingham winning it for England."

He later offered a strong critique of Norway's star player Erling Haaland during his Sky Sports appearance. "Erling Haaland was shocking," O'Hara stated. "He had one of the worst games I've seen him play. He ended up having to take him off, [Stale] Solbakken. That shows how bad he was. It was incredible. He was walking around. He did nothing, absolutely nothing, didn't help his team whatsoever. Haaland was shocking, he really was. It was a terrible performance."

O'Hara is the latest in a string of footballers and sports personalities to have their vehicles or homes targeted. This type of crime has previously affected players such as Raheem Sterling, who was burgled during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and Wayne Rooney, whose mansion was burgled in 2016 while he played in his testimonial match. Several Liverpool players, including Steven Gerrard, Pepe Reina, Dirk Kuyt, Daniel Agger, and Sadio Mane, have also been victims, as was Romelu Lukaku while playing for Everton and away on international duty.
