Super Bowl LXI to Stream on Disney+ Alongside ABC and ESPN Broadcast

Super Bowl LXI, scheduled to be broadcast on ABC and ESPN, will also be available for streaming on Disney+. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the NFL championship game will be accessible on a streaming platform.

ESPN is set to broadcast its first Super Bowl, with ABC airing the game for the first time since Super Bowl XL in 2006. The inclusion of Disney+ as a streaming option will make Super Bowl LXI accessible in more than 55 international markets.

This follows a trend of Super Bowl broadcasts being available online. Super Bowl LVIII was streamed on Paramount+, the following year's game was on Tubi, and the most recent NBC broadcast was available on Peacock.

The Walt Disney Company also announced that two "Monday Night Football" games will be accessible via Disney+: an October 26 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, and a second game yet to be announced. These games will also be broadcast on ESPN and ABC.

ESPN was awarded this season's Super Bowl in 2021 as part of the NFL's updated media rights agreements, joining Fox, CBS, and NBC in the rotation.

The broadcast team for Super Bowl LXI will include Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who last called the NFL championship in 2020 for Fox. The game is scheduled to be played on Valentine's Day.
