Stephanie Vaquer captured the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan during a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, on Saturday. The untelevised house show saw a surprising turn of events when special guest referee Becky Lynch appeared to deviate from her officiating duties, creating an opening for Vaquer.

Morgan, visibly upset with Lynch's officiating, reportedly pushed and then slapped the referee in the ring. Vaquer seized the opportunity, delivering a thrust kick to Morgan. Although Morgan countered with her signature move, the Oblivion, Lynch's count stopped at two. Lynch then appeared to give Morgan a disqualifying gesture before Vaquer capitalized, executing the Vaquer Inferno from the top rope to secure the pinfall and win the championship.

This marks Vaquer's second reign as Women's World Champion. She initially won the vacant title in September, holding it for 210 days before Morgan claimed it at WrestleMania 42. Morgan's latest reign concludes after 147 days.

Vaquer, who hails from Chile, celebrated her victory in her home country. The win is expected to place her immediately back in the spotlight, with potential challengers including Becky Lynch already emerging as contenders for the title.
