Steph Curry Passes Dominique Wilkins on NBA All-Time Scoring List

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry moved into 18th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, surpassing Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins during Friday night's 112-95 win against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Curry scored 31 points in the game, bringing his career total to 26,674 points. He entered the contest needing 25 points to pass Wilkins, who finished his 15-season career with 26,668 points.

The milestone basket came in the fourth quarter off an assist from Draymond Green. A screen by Will Richard freed Curry for an open three-pointer, which he made. The play was extended to a four-point opportunity when Matisse Thybulle was assessed a technical foul on the same possession.

Curry's performance included eight three-pointers, with the bucket that broke the scoring record being his 25th, 26th, and 27th points of the night.

Among active NBA players, only Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Demar DeRozan have scored more career points than Curry. He is now 36 points behind Oscar Robertson, who holds the 17th spot on the all-time list with 26,710 points.
