Michael Holley, a co-host of NBC Sports' "PFT Live," fainted on camera during the program's live broadcast on Friday. The incident occurred while co-host Mike Florio was discussing Troy Aikman's comments regarding a potential conflict of interest with the Miami Dolphins.

During the broadcast, Holley, 56, appeared unwell, swaying before tipping backward and falling out of his chair. The show immediately cut to a commercial break to provide assistance.

Following the episode, the "PFT Live" show released a statement on social media confirming Holley was "fine." The statement explained that Holley had become overheated in his home studio. "We immediately went to a commercial break in order to get him assistance. Fortunately, Michael recovered quickly and is fine," the statement read.

Florio later stated that Holley had not consumed any food or drink prior to the broadcast. "Michael was in the studio at his home," Florio told Awful Announcing. "It’s very warm in there. He hadn’t had anything to eat or drink before the show. He became overheated during the show and passed out."

Florio added that he did not notice Holley's distress until he slumped in his seat because he was focused on the camera. "We went to break right away to try to get him assistance, if he needed it. Fortunately, he recovered quickly and is fine."

Holley joined NBC Sports and Peacock in 2020 and became a regular rotating co-host of "PFT Live" in 2024. Previously, he wrote columns for several newspapers, including The Boston Globe and Chicago Tribune, and worked as a radio commentator for WEEI for 13 years.
