Sports Analyst 'Stitches' Delivers Winning MLB Wild Card Picks
The New York Post contributor successfully predicted three of four wild card series outcomes, including the Braves' advance.
The recent MLB wild card round saw sports analyst "Stitches" achieve a successful track record with his predictions, correctly forecasting three out of his four series picks. His Game 3 selection of the Atlanta Braves also proved to be a winner, as they clinched their series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
In the wild card matchups, the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox. The Houston Astros were eliminated by the White Sox, and the San Diego Padres advanced past the Chicago Cubs. The Braves secured their win against the Phillies with a 6-2 score in Game 3. Michael Harris II was instrumental in the Braves' victory, hitting a crucial three-run homer early in the game. Ray Kerr contributed a strong pitching performance, allowing only one hit over 3 1/3 innings, while Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson added to the lead. Chris Sale closed out the game for the Braves.
This success marks another positive outcome for "Stitches," who has been handicapping baseball for The Post since 2019. The analyst also previously won The Post's NFL Best Bet crown.
