The Wimbledon 2026 men's singles championship will be decided today, July 12, with a highly anticipated match between the top two players in the world: No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Alexander Zverev.

Sinner, the defending Wimbledon champion, reached the final by defeating Novak Djokovic in the semifinals. Zverev, who won his first Grand Slam title last month at the French Open, advanced by defeating British wildcard Arthur Fery.

If Zverev wins, he will become the first man in the Open Era to secure his second major title at the event immediately following his first. The final is scheduled to begin around 11 a.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.

The match will be held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. This marks Zverev's first appearance in the Wimbledon final. Sinner, meanwhile, is aiming to defend his championship title.

This is not the first meeting between Sinner and Zverev. The two players have faced each other 14 times since 2020, with Sinner holding a significant advantage in their head-to-head record, having won 10 matches. Nine of those victories have occurred in the past two years, including their most recent encounter at the May 2026 Madrid Open, where Sinner won in straight sets.

Fans without traditional cable can stream the Wimbledon finals through various live TV streaming services. DIRECTV offers a five-day free trial, with their Choice plan including ESPN. Additionally, a Sling TV Orange Day Pass is available for $4.99, providing 24 hours of access to ESPN and other channels.
