Seahawks Running Back Jadarian Price Ruled Out for Week 4 with Re-Aggravated Injury

The Seattle Seahawks will be without rookie running back Jadarian Price for their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, as he has re-aggravated a chest injury.

Price originally sustained the injury in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. His unavailability exacerbates an already thin running back depth chart for the Seahawks, who are coming off a Week 3 loss to the Washington Commanders.

The team has also been without veteran running back Zach Charbonnet, who has been on the physically unable to perform list since tearing his ACL last season. Charbonnet returned to practice on Thursday, but he is still required to miss a minimum of four games, which includes the upcoming contest.

Price was selected 32nd overall in the 2026 NFL Draft to help fill the void left by Kenneth Walker, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason. However, Price has struggled in his first three NFL games, recording 119 yards on 28 carries with no touchdowns and losing a fumble in last week's defeat. His development will now be paused as he recovers.

Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani are expected to carry the load for the Seahawks' ground attack in Price's absence.
