Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Bud Clark was carted off the field with a broken ankle during the team's preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday night. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed the injury post-game, stating that Clark would likely be sidelined for "multiple months."

Clark, who was Seattle's second-round pick in the recent draft, had been working with the team's second defensive unit during training camp. The injury occurred just minutes into the first quarter, with Clark appearing to be in significant pain. Trainers from both teams attended to him on the field before he was taken off on a cart, reportedly with an air cast on his ankle.

"It's not easy," Macdonald commented on the team's response to the injury. "To see how our team reacted. I think we had the whole team go out there to give him some love. I think that tells you what everybody thinks about him."

Seattle Seahawks safety Bud Clark (9) is carted off the field by medical staff.

The Seahawks have experienced several other injuries recently. On Friday, receiver Jake Bobo sustained a season-ending knee injury during a joint practice with the Titans. Additionally, starting left guard Mason Richman was injured during the opening drive of Sunday's game.
