Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold suffered a hip injury and is questionable to return for the team's season opener against the New England Patriots. The injury occurred just five offensive snaps into the game.
Darnold was sacked by Patriots linebacker Dre'Mont Jones during the Seahawks' first series and appeared to land awkwardly. He was seen limping on the sideline before entering the medical tent. After evaluation by the Seahawks' medical staff, he was taken to the locker room.
Drew Lock has taken over as quarterback for the Seahawks.
