Major League Wrestling (MLW) star Scarlett Bordeaux has set her sights on the MLW Women's World Championship. Bordeaux, who has secured recent victories against Aleah James and Blair Onyx on "MLW Fusion," stated her intention to pursue the championship. "The day's coming," Bordeaux told Fox News Digital regarding her pursuit of gold.

Bordeaux's ambition comes as her longtime friend, Shotzi, recently won the MLW Women's World Championship by defeating Shoko Nakajima. While Bordeaux expressed happiness for Shotzi's achievement, she also indicated a readiness to compete against her friend for the title.

"Man, she’s getting decorated. The girl deserves it. I’m telling you, she’s the hardest worker. I know in the last month, she’s had like 24 matches. So, 24 matches, multiple countries. She’s the hardest worker, an incredible wrestler. I’m so, so proud of her," Bordeaux said of Shotzi. "You know I’ll always support my girl, Shotzi. That’s my girl. But when it’s time to fight. It’s time to fight. It’s such a complicated thing because I love that belt on her but when I did come to MLW to prove myself, to get that gold, the day’s coming. Let’s put it that way."

Following her win over Blair Onyx, Bordeaux commented on the match, highlighting Onyx's training at Seth Rollins' Black and Brave Academy. "So, I was really excited to wrestle Blair Onyx. She came from Black and Brave Academy. I knew Seth Rollins, who was Tyler Black in (Ring of Honor) when I started," she said. "So, she was a student of his. So, getting to work with her, she was such a special character, super athletic. I think she’s great. I really, really had a good time working with her. She’s very flexible. I don’t know if you saw but her shoulder pops out and rolls back in, which I thought was awesome. She’s very, very special and I feel like she’s going to be doing a lot in the next few years. Everyone is going to be seeing her everywhere."

Bordeaux returned to MLW in November alongside her husband, Killer Kross. She noted an increased opportunity for creative expression within the promotion. "We have been able to collaborate so many great ideas that we’ve pitched," Bordeaux stated. "MLW has been just so great to work for. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. The matches and the opponents they’ve given me have all been so incredibly talented. Lady Frost is definitely a pain in the a-- in the ring but she’s so talented too and so athletic. They’ve really built this incredible company with this great roster. I feel very lucky to be there."

"MLW Fusion" airs on Saturdays at 6 p.m. ET on YouTube.
