Rory McIlroy Secures New Global Partnership with DP World, Enhancing Tournament Support

Golfer Rory McIlroy has entered into a new multi-year global partnership with logistics company DP World, which will provide an unprecedented level of support throughout his tournament schedule. As part of the agreement, DP World will deploy two personalized fitness and recovery trailers to every PGA Tour and DP World Tour event that McIlroy participates in.

This unique arrangement aims to ensure McIlroy and his team have a consistent training and recovery environment regardless of his competition location. DP World will manage all logistical aspects, including customs clearance, storage, and delivery of the trailers to each tournament venue. The company stated that its smart end-to-end global logistics network will facilitate this process.

McIlroy, a four-time major champion, has long emphasized the importance of physical fitness in professional golf. He has been recognized for his consistent health throughout his career, with his last significant injury occurring in 2017. The golfer is scheduled to make his first start in nearly a month at the DP World India Championship on October 15.

In 2026, McIlroy made 14 starts on the PGA Tour, including all four major championships. The partnership with DP World underscores McIlroy's status as a global competitor, frequently traveling across different countries and continents for tournaments.
