Rory McIlroy made a distinctive arrival at Wimbledon on Wednesday, choosing to wear his Masters green jacket as he and his wife, Erica Stoll, attended the tournament. McIlroy, who secured his second consecutive Masters title two months prior, was a guest in the Royal Box on Day Three of the championships.
McIlroy, a noted tennis enthusiast, is known to attend events like the US Open and maintains a friendship with two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz has previously celebrated victories with a golf swing gesture in honor of McIlroy.
Several other prominent figures from the golf world were also in attendance at the Royal Box. Justin Rose, whom McIlroy defeated in a playoff for the career Grand Slam in 2025, was present. Also in attendance were European Ryder Cup teammate Tommy Fleetwood and captain Luke Donald, along with vice-captains Thomas Bjorn, Edoardo Molinari, and his brother Francesco.
McIlroy, 37, and Stoll attended the event shortly after the golfer's recent victory at Augusta and his relocation from the United States to a property in Surrey.
