Baltimore Ravens rookie Ja'Kobi Lane sustained a fractured wrist during the team's Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, an injury that is expected to sideline the receiver for several weeks. The extent of the injury will be further evaluated with an MRI on Monday.

Lane, a third-round pick from USC, was targeted three times by quarterback Lamar Jackson in his debut and recorded one reception for 11 yards before leaving the game. He had impressed during the preseason, catching five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown, leading to anticipation among fans about his potential pairing with Jackson.

The Ravens also saw receiver Zay Flowers exit the game with a hamstring injury. Flowers, who had a significant performance with five catches for 150 yards, will also undergo an MRI on Monday.

The 41-23 win marked the first for new head coach Jesse Minter, who succeeded John Harbaugh. Minter described the victory as a surreal and special moment, particularly with his father present on the sideline.
