Marcus Rashford is concentrating on England's World Cup campaign and will address his future at Manchester United after the tournament concludes. The 28-year-old spent the latter part of last season on loan at Barcelona, but the Spanish club declined to exercise a £26 million option to make the move permanent. Manchester United is reportedly open to offers for their highest earner but is not considering another loan to Barcelona at this time.

Rashford, whose contract with Manchester United extends to 2028, emphasized his commitment to the national team's current endeavors. "As a person, I live in the moment," he stated ahead of England's last-16 match against Mexico in Mexico City. "I was very clear with everyone involved before the World Cup. I wanted it done before, and if not, then I won't deal with it until after, because I want to fully be present in this moment."

He added that he does not have the mental energy to dedicate to other matters while the team is competing. Rashford is scheduled to return to pre-season training three weeks after England's World Cup campaign ends, provided no other club move is finalized.

Discussing the upcoming match, Rashford acknowledged the historic Azteca stadium and Mexico's strong home record. "It's a great stadium," he said before traveling from England's base in Kansas City. "It obviously works well for them in the past, although that's irrelevant [for us]. We know what we're going to face and we have to try to control the game and play our game. It's as simple as whatever gets thrown at us we try to deal with it and keep moving forward."

Rashford also commented on the impact of playing at an altitude of 7,200 feet. "The altitude obviously plays a factor, but it's not something that we're worried about or anything like that. We're all experienced players. We have to have to manage the game. It's about doing whatever it takes to win the game and move forward. There's lots of variables but it doesn't mean that much."
