Rams Lineman Punches Bills Linebacker After Overtime Thriller

Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson struck Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face following the Bills' 37-34 overtime victory on Monday night. The incident occurred after a closely contested game that saw both teams combine for 35 points in the fourth quarter.

According to reports, Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson as the Rams lineman was removing his pads. Chubb was then seen speaking with other Rams players at midfield when Jackson approached and punched him. Teammates quickly intervened to separate the players.

Bradley Chubb commented on the incident after the game, stating, "It's just emotions, you know what I mean? Emotional game. It was a close game." He added, "They always catch the second guy. So, I let him swing. And then my teammates held me back, and I just chilled." Chubb confirmed he was unharmed and focused on the upcoming week.

Jackson did not immediately address the altercation. He is likely to face disciplinary action, potentially including a suspension, due to the on-field punch.

The game itself was a back-and-forth affair, with the Rams tying the score at 34-34 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Kyren Williams with five seconds remaining in regulation. The Bills ultimately secured the win with a 45-yard field goal by Tyler Bass in overtime.

The victory improved the Bills' record to 4-1, while the Rams fell to 2-3 on the season.
