Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League holders, were granted an additional dressing room for the Super Cup match against Aston Villa after voicing concerns about the facilities at Red Bull Arena. The team found the initially allocated space to be insufficient.
At a pre-game meeting on Monday, PSG officials communicated their unhappiness with the arrangements to Uefa, citing the dressing room as too small. Sources indicated that the French club desired a space comparable to that of their opponents, Aston Villa, especially given their status as reigning Super Cup champions from the previous year's victory over Tottenham.
In response to PSG's concerns, Uefa allocated a spare dressing room, typically used by officials, to provide the team with more space. This adjustment ensured PSG had facilities equal in size to those of Aston Villa, without requiring any officials to relocate. The Super Cup match is scheduled to take place in Austria.
